GAME RAVEN REVIEW is your go-to media source for overlooked and underrepresented indie games.

We love introducing gamers to hidden gems in the indie game world because we are passionate about small indie games that are outside of the mainstream indie genre.

We are proudly women-owned and led.

We never charge developers for reviews of their games — we pride ourselves on fair, honest, and unbiased writing.

FRANKIE ZAMORA (He/Him) PODCAST EDITOR (WA)

Frankie ‘Taz’ Zamora has been gaming since his hands were big enough to hold a controller. It wasn’t until he got to college that he knew he wanted to do something within the gaming industry. He pursued the studies of computer sciences and psychology and later found a way to share his passion for gaming and experiencing different worlds on a virtual plane. He knew he had found his calling and the virtual avatar ‘Taz’ was born. Frankie is a variety streamer but his personal favorite video game genre is Open-World RPG. Here at Game Raven Review, Taz coordinates our weekly Raven Parties on Twitch and co-hosts and edits our weekly podcast.

SAM P PODCAST HOST (TX)

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Sam P started playing games around the age of 5 after receiving a Super Nintendo. As a child, Sam enjoyed countless hours of Super Mario World. Sam fondly remembers days in school when his friends would bring over their N64 to play Super Smash Bros (he's a Link main). The joy of competition and being around friends still burns as a fire within him to this day. Sam has always loved learning new things. This love led him to study Computer Science and begin a career in IT. For the last two-plus years, Sam has developed and SOMEWHAT maintained a podcast named Sam Said It which is about his love for movies, comics, and anything else that pops into his brain that week. He now bravely hosts The Game Raven Review Podcast, a weekly podcast where our writers roost and let their opinions fly around freely.
