Fun Gun Enigma is a unique and exciting puzzle game created by Studio Fun Game, a team of 2 people: artist Konstantin and Programmer Anton. They are located in Russia and this is their first game.

GRAPHICS 9/10

The beauty of this game can be attributed to its cartoonish textures with low poly models. The game menu features a variety of colors and design. While the animations and effects are very simple, everything from the characters to the floating islands is crystal clear and easy to visualize. Although some 3D models, such as barrels and balloons, are too detailed and do not fit the low poly art style, this game’s graphics still look pretty cool.

SOUND QUALITY 6/10

I did not enjoy the limited amount of seemingly random songs that change even if you restart the same level. I also felt that the genres of songs do not fit the game atmosphere. On the other hand, the sound effects are lovely and follow every change in the scene. Even the movement of your gun is decorated with significant sound effects.

GAMEPLAY 8/10

At first, everything in this game looks simple, yet this game holds a lot of secrets. With limited ammo, you need to think of a perfect strategy for every level. Some levels are difficult to pass, but don't worry; you won't get stuck. After you've failed a few times at the same level, the game will offer you a "key" purchase to skip the level. 

CHARACTERS 7/10

There are no characters in this game except your enemies, who are mostly static soldiers. According to the developers, most of the soldiers and all other targets resemble toys. There are a few specific soldiers whose appearance and colors elude to uniforms from World War 2. There are also civilians that cost you 250 points if you kill them — a severe punishment considering your primary target is only worth 25 points!

STORY 10/10

The backstory of this game began when the developers were still children. They would build fortresses out of blocks and place toy soldiers on them and would then throw tennis balls onto the strongholds in an attempt to hit the soldiers. In Fun Gun Enigma, the player needs to eliminate all enemies to unlock all levels. Aside from the floating islands and some modern objects, this game seems to have a World War II theme. Since the developer is from Russia, we can assume the player is a Russian soldier. The player’s objective is to kill all enemy soldiers and save civilians.

OVERALL 8/10

This game broke all the rules of game development and is unique and entertaining.

Even with the game still in development, it has many levels. The Developers are still working on new updates. I hope that the final version will be one step further into the indie game's development. Fun Gun Enigma is available now to download for free on mobile.
