POLY VITA

Poly Vita is the perfect way to unwind after a stormy, stressful day.

After a long, cold, and rainy Saturday, I wrapped myself in the warmest blanket I could find and enjoyed the beautiful demo of Poly Vita. Life has been stressful recently. 2022 did not start the way I’d hoped and like many, I was looking for something to take me away from the daily grind. Poly Vita was the dreamlike oasis I needed.

This thought-provoking puzzle game by Alejandro Zielinsky has a simple yet stunning design. Poly Vita’s beautiful journey through various dreamlike worlds follows Maya, a young girl who is lost within the figments of her own mind. The original soundtrack, with its long-sustained notes and spacious ambiance, creates a cozy vibe. Calming colors fill the edges of Maya’s visions as she wanders through solitary landscapes to gather fragments of her own soul so that she may wake once again.

With 30 beautifully designed levels and mind-bending puzzles, Poly Vita challenges players in a relaxed atmosphere.

The gameplay is simple in contrast to Poly Vita’s increasingly complex puzzles. This isometric game has unique turn-based elements: the player must pick up and place tiles to allow Maya to walk along winding paths. There are no timers—the challenge lies completely in the careful and strategic placement of each tile. Every level and landscape is unique. Planning is essential as you navigate complex pathways and dangerous obstacles. Once a safe pathway is established, the light in Maya’s home will illuminate as you complete each level.

This lovingly crafted, solo-developed game is already available on iOS and Android and is coming soon to Steam for PC. Wishlist Poly Vita today and follow the game on Twitter to stay up to date on its release.
